The Information Assurance Instructor will responsible for training students up to the certification level on CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+. The Information Assurance Instructor must stay current with industry standards and adapt as required to changes in the needs of the customer. Furthermore, instructors will be required to perform additional duties as may be required from time to time by the customer.

  • Ability to convey information in a format that the students can understand 
  • Prepare students to pass commercial certification exams is required;
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills;



  • Candidates must have experience teaching highly technical theories and systems to a variety of students with differing knowledge levels.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Two years of directly related job experience may be subsituted for each year of college not attended
  • Current certifications in CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ (Additional certification with any one of these is preferred: CISM, CISSP)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and one (1) years of experience or applicable military service greater than four (4) years.
  • Six years of experience delivering technical instruction or have a Military Master Instructor Certificate

Physical Demands

  • Work is primarily performed in an office/classroom environment. Typically employees sit comfortably to do their work, interspersed by periods of standing, walking, bending, carrying papers and books, and extensive periods requiring the use of computer terminals to accomplish work objectives.

  • Heavy lifting of gear in excess of 50lbs.

Standard Work Hours

  • Core hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Travel Expectations

  • Up to 25%

Travel Schedule

  • As needed to support the mission
