Overview

The Enterprise Architect/Resource Planner adapts business functional requirements and processes to technical solutions based upon a comprehensive enterprise application solution sets. Enterprise resource planning and management processes, including, but not limited to:

  • knowledge management, investment analysis, data warehousing, e-commerce, return on investment analysis, human resource analysis, material management and logistics, supply chain management, procurement, ordering, manufacturing decision support and information dissemination.
  • Desire extensive experience producing enterprise architecture documents for the federal government in accordance with OMB Policy for Enterprise Architecture Task.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Enterprise Architecture and Business Process Analysis, Business Impact Analysis support for OCFO and its systems to comply. 
  • Act independently to provide business and/or technical information technology consulting support to customer enterprises. 
  • Work with customer organization to formulate enterprise-wide business and/or technical information technology product and/or service strategies. 
  • Develop and appliy state-of-the-art consulting methodologies, business models and organizational behavior models to conceptualize methods to apply business and/or technical information technology products and services as strategic assets.
  • Apply extensive industry and enterprise knowledge to identify and recommend integrated solutions, products and services to support the enterprise’s accomplishments of business goals or technical needs.
  • Provide recommendations and guidance in the design, development, implementation and management of products and solutions. 
  • Research and recommend new / emerging technologies, techniques and tools. Assist with the application of emerging technologies to current customer environments. 
  • Conceptualize and propose new and add-on opportunities for the customer. Support and participate in the conceptualization and development of technology policy, methodologies, models, techniques and strategies.
  • Support various division directors’ responsibility to provide enterprise architecture and related documents to OCIO.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree (or demonstrably equivalent work experience)  REQUIRED + 10 years experience
  • Masters Degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems or Computer Science, preferred
  • PMP Certification, preferred
  • Additional EA Certification such as, preferred:
    • Open CA
    • CITA
    • EACOE
    • Certified SOA Architect
    • FEAC Institute
    • CPIC

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree or higher; preferred
  • Ten Year's experience minimum with Bachelor's degree. 
  • Eight years minimum experience with Master's degree or higher.

Physical Demands

  • Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Typically employees sit comfortably to do their work, interspersed by brief periods of standing, walking, bending, carrying papers and books, and extensive periods requiring the use of computer terminals to accomplish work objectives.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds independently and conduct standard office / clean up work.
