The Senior Personnel Security Specialists hold positions in the DARPA Badge Office, Common Access Card Office, and Clearance Processing Center. All Personnel Security Specialists must have successfully completed the CDSE on-line training course, “Introduction to Personnel Security” prior to assuming their position.

All PERSEC specialists must have a history of demonstrated successful experience in performing personnel security activities including, but not limited to:
1). Successful completion of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Intelligence Community Directive 704, Adjudications Seminar, after successfully completing the on-line course.
2). Personnel assigned to a PSS position MUST successfully complete the required training on the Defense Management Data Center (DMDC) website for Verifying Official in order to operate and issue Common Access Card equipment. This training MUST be completed within 10 business days of being assigned to a PSS position. Additionally, two individuals will be identified as Site Security Managers, which requires additional training that MUST be completed within the same 10 business day requirement above.
3). Must successfully complete the CDSE on line training for Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP) within 30 days of being assigned to a PSS position.
4). Must successfully complete the CDSE on line training for JPAS within 10 days of being assigned to a PSS position.
5). Must successfully complete the CDSE on line training Introduction to DoD Personnel Security Adjudication PS001.18 within 60 days of being assigned to a PSS position.
All candidates must have an active Top Secret clearance based on an SSBI; NO interim clearances.
SCI is required for all positons, candidiates must be able to pass a polygraph and will be issued SCI after contract award. Normally takes 2 to 6 weeks to obtain SCI
