Overview

Provide support to a myriad of logistics functional areas. The MARSOC CLS contract support will consist of 103 Combat Service Support (CSS). Services performed shall include various logistics support tasks necessary for continued operational readiness of the organization. Services required include but is not limited to: Logistics Support, Embarkation Support, Supply Administration Support, Warehouse Support, Ammunition Control Support, Motor Transport Operations Support, Maintenance Management Support, Automotive/Heavy Equipment (HE) Maintenance Support, Electrical Equipment Support, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Maintenance Support, Ground Communications-Electronics Maintenance Support, Armory Support, Budget Analyst, Environmental Safety and Health Specialist, and Project Management Support.

Responsibilities

  • Handle, transport, and store all types of ammunition, explosives, missiles and toxic chemicals and other HAZMAT and inspect materiel to determine serviceability and need for repair or destruction. Responsibilities include the use of Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS) and other AIS.
  • All Ammunition personnel involved in the custody, maintenance, disposal, distribution, or security of Arms, Ammunition & Explosives (AA&E) in the performance of their duties shall be screened using the AA&E Screening Package per Marine Corps Order (MCO) 5530.14A Marine Corps Physical Security Program and MCO 8023.3B Personnel Qualification and Certification Program for Class V Ammunition Explosives

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and skills with Ammo custody, maintenance, disposal, distribution, or security of Arms, Ammunition & Explosives.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma 
  • Obtain an operators’ license for non-tactical/tactical Government-owned equipment and be certified to transport AA&E.
  • Knowledge of Ammo personnel involved in custody, maintenance, disposal, distribution, or security of Arms, Ammunition & Explosives screened using  AA&E Screening Package per Marine Corps Order (MCO) 5530.14A Marine Corps Physical Security Program and MCO 8023.3B Personnel Qual & Certification Program for Class V Ammunition Explosives; obtain operators’ license for non-tactical/tactical Government-owned equipment and be certified to transport AA&E.
