Overview

Provide support to a myriad of logistics functional areas. The MARSOC CLS contract support will consist of 103 Combat Service Support (CSS). Services performed shall include various logistics support tasks necessary for continued operational readiness of the organization. Services required include but is not limited to: Logistics Support, Embarkation Support, Supply Administration Support, Warehouse Support, Ammunition Control Support, Motor Transport Operations Support, Maintenance Management Support, Automotive/Heavy Equipment (HE) Maintenance Support, Electrical Equipment Support, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Maintenance Support, Ground Communications-Electronics Maintenance Support, Armory Support, Budget Analyst, Environmental Safety and Health Specialist, and Project Management Support.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities include using AIS such as ATLASS, GCSS-MC and SSAVIE.
  • Contractor shall be a certified Gunsmith, when required.
  • Contractor shall be able to obtain an operators’ license for non-tactical/tactical Government-owned equipment and be certified to transport AA&E.
  • All Armory personnel involved in the custody, maintenance, disposal, distribution, or security of Arms, Ammunition & Explosives (AA&E) in the performance of their duties shall be screened using the AA&E Screening Package per MCO 5530.14A Marine Corps Physical Security Program and MCO 8023.3B Personnel Qualification and Certification Program for Class V Ammunition Explosives.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with non-tactical/tactical Government-owned equipment, read schematic diagrams, blueprints and specifications.
  • Shall perform inspection, maintenance, fabrication and repair of precision small arms and optics, to include vehicular mounted small arms.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Obtain an operators’ license for non-tactical/tactical Government-owned equipment, read schematic diagrams, blueprints and specifications.

Physical Demands

  • Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Typically, employees sit comfortably to do their work, interspersed by brief periods of standing, walking, bending, carrying papers and books, and extensive periods requiring the use of computer terminals to accomplish work objectives.

  • Work in a shop with tools
