Overview

Provide support to a myriad of logistics functional areas. The MARSOC CLS contract support will consist of 103 Combat Service Support (CSS). Services performed shall include various logistics support tasks necessary for continued operational readiness of the organization. Services required include but is not limited to: Logistics Support, Embarkation Support, Supply Administration Support, Warehouse Support, Ammunition Control Support, Motor Transport Operations Support, Maintenance Management Support, Automotive/Heavy Equipment (HE) Maintenance Support, Electrical Equipment Support, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Maintenance Support, Ground Communications-Electronics Maintenance Support, Armory Support, Budget Analyst, Environmental Safety and Health Specialist, and Project Management Support.

Responsibilities

  • Contractor shall plan, coordinate, execute and/or assist in execution of all logistics functions, to include: Supply, Maintenance, Transportation, General Engineering. Other functional responsibilities include Ammunition, Environmental Compliance, Fiscal, , Logistics Modernization, Maintenance Management and Safety.
  • Includes using automated information systems (AIS) such as: Automated Air-load Planning System (AALPS); Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRSS); Integrated Computerized Deployment System (ICODES);  Global Tracking Network (GTN); and Global Deployment Support System (GDSS); Joint Operation Planning Execution System (JOPES); MAGTF Deployment Support System (MDSS II); Total Life Cycle Management – Operational Support Tool (TLCM-OST); Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC); Single Mobility System (SMS); the Special Operations Forces Sustainment and Asset Visibility Information Exchange (SSAVIE); and Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS). Contractor shall be able to obtain an operators’ license for non-tactical/tactical Government-owned equipment.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience handling Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs);
  • Knowledge of non-tactical/tactical Government-owned equipment.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Certified by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to handle Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs); obtain an operators’ license for non-tactical/tactical Government-owned equipment.

  • Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Typically, employees sit comfortably to do their work, interspersed by brief periods of standing, walking, bending, carrying papers and books, and extensive periods requiring the use of computer terminals to accomplish work objectives.
